Rebecca Holmes is an up and coming rider from Leicestershire who has home bred two beautiful youngsters. I was lucky enough to join Rebecca on her journey back in 2017, when Bridget the Dam of the youngsters was introduced to me, requiring nutrition advice. The future is looking very bright for Becki and her two home bred youngsters.
Rebecca(Becki) - In her own words
I met Sarah around seven years ago, when I first started out trying to compete with the hopes of doing the Wobbleberry Challenge. (Complete a BE 80 for the charity Hannah's Willberry Wonder Pony) on my mare Bridget.
Sarah taught me the importance of correct nutrition, when trying to get a horse eventing fit, and making sure that all of my horses were on a correct diet to suit them.
Since then she has continued to be on hand to help and support me and my string of wonderful horses.
Before my event horse Buck had to retire from jumping, we were lucky enough to complete the Wobble berry challenge and continue going up the levels and competing at BE 90 and then training at BE 100.
Since then we took to dressage were we had great success, one of our fondest memories was competing at Blenheim Palace International Horse Trials in the ROR Regional Finals where we one the ROR National Championship unaffiliated Novice League.
After Buck retired I focused on retraining ex Race Horses, whilst quietly in the background breeding two foals from my lovely Mare Bridget.
Again Sarah was heavily involved providing feeding plans for the foals and the racers, straight out of training to help them in their new lives.
